April Joy Beavers Boone

May 29, 1979 - July 12, 2021

April Joy Beavers Boone, beloved mother, soon-to-be grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, niece and dear friend to many, went to be with her Lord and Savior after unexpected health issues earlier this week. April, the daughter of Jennie and Ronnie Beavers, was born in Elizabethtown on May 29, 1979. April grew up in Hardin County and graduated from Central Hardin High School in 1997. April loved spending time with her family and friends, going fishing, and listening to music, especially Metallica on Sundays. She was a wonderful friend to many. She would call and check on friends, and even sit and talk with them when they were not well. April was a warrior--she fought through many health issues from the time she was born, and she always got through those struggles with incredible strength and grace. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, James and Doris Stephens, Paternal grandmother, Odell Helm Cook, Paternal grandfather Donald Gene Beavers, aunt and uncle Marvin and Ushie "Ruth" Dye, and aunt Brenda McDaniel. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her children, Hunter and Greyson Boone; soon-to-be granddaughter Sophie Marie Paige Boone (Greyson); her sisters, Brittany Beavers and Jennifer Mitchell; a niece, Riley Mitchell; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Funeral Services will be held Thursday July 15, 2021 1:00 pm at Glendale Christian Church in Glendale, KY with Revs. Mike Bell, and Adam Hale officiating. Burial will be held at the Glendale Christian Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Glendale Christian Church in Glendale.
