Carrel Ray "Cack" Allen, 71, went to be with the Lord May 19, 2021, at 4:13 p.m. He was born December 16, 1949. He retired from Campbell Hausfeld after 31 years. Cack loved spending time with his family having Sunday cookouts, fishing, riding his gator, his dog Jack, he enjoyed picking up aluminum cans, he was a corn hole champ, a father figure to many, and never met a stranger. He will be greatly and deeply missed by all who knew him. He is preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Lucille Allen; daughter Carla Ray Allen; brother Jerry Allen; sister, Linda "Sissy" Daugherty; sister-in-law, Pauline Allen; nephew, Junior Allen; and great-granddaughter, Lillian Grace Clark-Brisco. He is survived by his life-long companion, best friend, and partner-in-crime, Lavon Bonnie Skeeters of Eastview; two daughters, Jenny Allen Harris and Penny Allen (Brian Fryman), all of Cecilia; two brothes, Larry Allen of Locust Hill and Terry Allen of Cecilia; sister, Brenda Sadler of Constantine; grandsons, Dustin and Gage Browning, Sebastian Lopez of Cecilia and Elijah Crockett of Bardstown; special granddaughter, Linda Lou Hair of Cecilia; three great-granddaughers, Bella Browning, Anna Browning and Evelyn Brisco, all of Rineyville; Jequita, Twayla, Heather, Donna, JK, Scarlett and Logan, you all held a special place in his heart; and two best friends, Larry Moore and Ronnie Lashley of Cecilia. Funeral Services will be held Monday May 24, 2021 2:00 p.m. at Manakee Funeral Home of Elizabethtown with Rev. Christopher McGuffin officiating. Burial will be held at the Allen Family Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Monday 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Manakee Funeral Home of Elizabethtown.
