Gerald F. Purdum, 93, of Upton, passed away Wednesday December 22, 2021 at his residence in Upton. He was born in Unionville, Iowa to Ned and Dorothy Swarts Purdum. He was a United States Navy and Coast Guard Veteran. Gerald was a retired Iron Worker and member of Upton Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parent, two brothers, Gordon Purdum, Gale Purdum, and a sister, Gweneth Christy. He is survived by his loving Wife, Anna Jane Wilcox Purdum of Upton, KY, two sons, Gary (Sherry) Purdum of Post Falls, ID, Greg (Melony) Purdum of Placerville, CA, daughter, Geri Ann (Craig) Keith of Hodgenville, KY, three sisters, Greta Ogden of Unionville, IA, Gereda Boling of Unionville, IA, Gloria Purdum of Phoenix, AR, one brother, Gaylen Purdum of Phoenix, AR, eight Grandchildren, Grant, Belinda, Jane, Haley, Glen, Smith, Conner, Candace, five great-grandchildren, Penelope, Ellie, Alyssa, Ascher, Remi Graveside Services with Military Honors will be held 1:00 p.m. Monday December 27, 2021 at Upton Cemetery in Upton, Ky. with Rev.
