Timmy D. Peters

July 14, 1976 - April 24, 2022

Our only child, Timmy DeWayne (Tim Wayne) Peters, of Cecilia, left our arms straight into the arms of Jesus on Sunday April 24, 2022 to hear those precious words: "Well done, Thy good and faithful servant." He was born to Terry and Sheena Gray Peters. Timmy liked football, "Raiders", college football, "Florida State", basketball, University of Kentucky, wrestling, Nascar and playing pool. He liked to travel and eat out. He hasn't been able to do either one for 10 years. Most of all and, most important, Timmy loved Jesus and going to church. He loved his church family at New Hope Community and they loved him. If you have been there for Timmy and us through this journey, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. John 14:2 In my Father's house are many mansions; if it were not so I would have told you.. I go to prepare a place for you. John 14:3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to myself, that where I am, there you may be also. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Ray and Mary McDaniel Gray and by his paternal grandparents Carl and Aldia Peters, two special uncles Hollis Gray and Brad Finch as well as many more uncles and aunts. He leaves behind his loving parents Terry and Sheena Gray Peters; his aunts and uncles, Christine Clark, Lorrine (Arden) Moore, Nadine Finch, Juanita (Joe) Sexton, Linda (Doug) Stillwell and Rae Wanda (Carroll) Howard; and lots of cousins whom he loved very much. Also, his special friends, Mike (Sandra) Jones, Bubby (Darlene) Grimes, Cole Miller, Jason Salsman, and Harold Cook; his beloved pets, Pudding and Jazzy; and lots of friends too numerous to name. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, April 27, 2022 at 2:00 pm at Manakee Funeral Home in Elizabethtown, with Rev. Herb Williams officiating. Burial will be held at Stephensburg Cemetery. Visitation will beTuesday, April 26, 2022 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Manakee Funeral Home in Elizabethtown and will continue on Wednesday, April 27, 2022 at 11:00 am.
