William Scott "Scooter" Hayes

William Scott "Scooter" Hayes, 29, of Hodgenville, passed away Monday June 29, 2020 at Norton's Hospital in Louisville. He was a native of Louisville, KY. He was a Correctional Officer for LaRue County Detention Center. Scooter was a wonderfully loving husband, great father, amazing son, and the best brother. Scooter was preceded in death by his Sister, Tiffany Michelle Hayes. He is survived by loving wife, April Barr Hayes of Hodgenville; son, Jase Scott Hayes of Hodgenville; daughter, Rebecca McCane of Hodgenville; parents Frank and Jennifer Hayes of Elizabethtown; two sisters, Jessica Marie Peters of Vine Grove and Brittany Nicole Hayes of Big Clifty; and grandparents Charlie and Debbie Hayes of Eastview. Funeral Services will be held Friday July 3, 2020 2:00 P.M. at Manakee Funeral Home in Elizabethtown with Rev. Billy Curle officiating. Visitation will be Thursday 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. and will continue on Friday from 9:00 A.M. until 2:00 P.M. at Manakee Funeral Home in Elizabethtown.
